• The VISION of Dravyaguna Vigyan is very vast .It is one of the important Triads of Ayurveda in the form of Dravya, that's why it is very essential to provide the knowledge of Dravya (Substances), Guna (Properties), Rasa (Taste),Virya (Potency), Vipaka
(Biotransformation) , Prabhav(Specific action),Karma (pharmacological action), Prayoga (Utility of drugs) as Ahara(Diet) and Aushadha(Medicine) & their application in the clinical practices.
• To disseminate the hidden knowledge of medicinal plants in society.
• To make easier identification of crude drugs.
• It is one of the most important pillar of Chikitsa Chatuspad because the knowledge of dravya is very essential to apply it in Chikitsa .
• To provide resolution regarding controversial medicinal plants.
• To contribute in the clarification of various concepts of Indian system of medicine related to Dravyaguna.
• Standards of drug as well as clinical application of drugs in the form of Single drug therapy as well as Multi drug therapy for specific diseased conditions.
