Utility This subject provides the knowledge of identification of poisons along with their actions, their detections and treatment of conditions produced by them. Application of knowledge of medicine for the purpose of law. Deals with the legal aspects of practice of medicine viz. medical negligence, rights & duties of doctor, professional misconduct etc.
As a valuable learning resource, the department has its own library comprising of more than 100 books containing standard text books and reference books.
The department has a well equipped, excellent museum comprising of poisons, weapons, models and charts.
